About Me
Hello, I’m Colin Johnstone, the craftsman behind Artisan Foil Co.
Artisan Foil Co was born when I rediscovered a gift from Mum. Before I headed off backpacking around Europe in 1995, Mum gave me a personalised leather passport holder. More than 30 years later, I still have it.
Finding it tucked away in a drawer brought back memories of that trip and a previous foil-stamping business I owned. It inspired me to get started again.
Today, I’m returning to a craft I’ve enjoyed before, personalising leather gifts with names, initials and gold foil. Perhaps something I personalise for you will still be treasured in another 30 years.
