A 13 inch, 14 inch or 15 inch laptop is named after its screen size. It does not mean the outside dimensions will be identical to every other laptop carrying the same size description.

The same issue applies to 13 inch and 15 inch laptops. Different generations can have slightly different outside measurements too.

Close your MacBook and measure its width, length and thickness. Compare those figures with the measurements provided on the product page.

You want the laptop to slide into the sleeve without a fight. You don’t want it moving around inside a case that is too large either.

If you have a MacBook Air 13, another Apple laptop or a Dell, don’t assume it will fit because the screen size appears correct. Check the actual measurements first.
